Forged from a single piece of stain-resistant steel, each knife offers a full tang and the classic triple-riveted handle. Measuring 8-1/4 inches in length, the cutting edges feature a serrated texture to easily slice steak, tuna, or pork into bite-sized morsels. Additionally, the blades can ably tackle any number of kitchen cutting and slicing tasks. Without the need for sharpening, the cutlery is virtually maintenance-free and even cleans safely in the dishwasher--although hand washing is preferred. « Great product, highly recommend you just buy it »

Nice quality for the money, but even if the amount was 2-5 times more expensive, it would also be good. They are very light weight (you may not like that) and they are quite sharp. They slice though steak the way you would expect. I also see my wife using them on fruit as well. She likes them too, which is a miracle in itself.

« Good quality inexpensive steak knives. »

I bought these knives for a decent set of steak knives (they're not professional quality) and they work great. Very sharp, easy to handle and wash, and they cut well. While I'd like to get a nicer set one of these days, these don't disappoint - price them against other knives and you'll see the difference. Highly recommended! We've had them almost a year and they look brand new.

« Hard to beat »

What a nice set of knives for the money! They are the sharpest steak knives I have ever seen. Very easy to control. I only have two complaints and they are really pretty minor- I'd like a little more heft in the handle and the blade is a little more flexible than I like. But really, these little puppies are ready to slice up the toughest piece of shoe leather or they will slide through a good ribeye with absolutely no effort.

I normally don't put knives in the dishwasher, but we've been putting these in for months with no detrimental effects on the knives that we can see.

« Great knives »

Needed a new set of steak knives so went looking. Anyone that knows knives has heard of Henckels. Good price on a 8 piece set so I ordered. These have a great balance. And the edge is sharp for a straight knife, let alone a serated one.

They cut like a beauty. Just slice right through the meat.

I would buy again without hesitation.

I had a set of steak knives I absolutely hated. They couldn't cut through bread. For several months we have been looking at various knives but didn't like what we saw. I even had a young man "working his way through college" at our home giving a demonstration of his company's knives. I would have had to mortgage our home to purchase four of them!! Then an e-mail from Amazon listing some of their bargain sales arrived with Henckels International Eversharp 8-piece steak knife set. I am well acquainted with the Henckel brand and their quality so I really perked up at this e-mail. The well-known name and quality, the price and a set with 8 knives convinced me to purchase them. I cannot rave enough about these knives. They are very sharp and have easily cut anything I have used them on. They may not be the very expensive Henckel knives but they will hold their own against them. Buy them!
