    « The Perfect Ricer »
The top recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. My potatoes have never been lighter! The only way to make light and fluffy mashed potatoes. Look up there recipe online.

« Very Useful Kitchen Tool »
This is a very useful tool for ricing potatoes and other soft, cooked vegetables. I am a lover of gnocchi and this helps me make delicious dishes. The tool is sturdy and comes with 2 discs, instead of the one most of the other brands come with. The item was shipped immediately and arrived as promised. You can't go wrong with this kitchen tool.

« Very handy for mashed potatoes »
After seeing how easy it was for a friend to make mashed potatoes with a ricer, I decided to get one for myself. I got this particular ricer because it's recommended by Cook's Illustrated.

The ricer is definitely handy for mashed potatoes, so I'm fairly pleased with the purchase. The plastic handles do flex a bit when I use it, which I find a little annoying, but they are otherwise easy to grip and the ricer itself is easy to use. The handles are long enough to give you some good leverage. There is a handy fixture at the front of the ricer so that you can rest it on the rim of the bowl while you're occupied with something else.

Cook's Illustrated liked that the ricer comes with two interchangeable disks with holes of different sizes, but I am not sure how useful it really is to have two discs. I've only used the disc with larger holes and haven't changed out the disc because I don't really see the need to. But the interchangeability arguably makes it easier to clean, because you can disassemble the ricer and throw the parts into the dishwasher.

All in all, it's a very useful product.

    « Great results! »
I really love the results you get from both blades! I never used to make mashed potatos..I used instant..which nowadays isn't all bad (shutter the food tv fans I know!) It's light and I recommend to make sure your hands are dry or use a towel for best grip..you will get the hang of it quick! Now I look forward to other uses like cauliflower or butternut squash for Turkey Day..which I just thought of it's perfect for cranberries!! oh my! And strawberry sauce for cheesecake!! Oh and soften the cream cheese for cheesecake!! and...and...and..

    « Great & Simple »
Great mashed potatoes. Well made and very easy to use and clean. STEAM Yukon Gold potatoes, they won't fall apart like they do in water, and then put them in this ricer and just stir in other ingredients. No need to blend and you get awesome mashed potatoes. Oh yeah, great price ! Purchased 3 of these things. Makes a great gift for any home cooks.
