« Great for the environment, bad for your clothes »

I bought this cup mainly because I have a hard time finding a travel mug to fit in my truck cup holder. I like the whole ceramic mug idea and less waste, blah, blah, blah, but if you buy this be sure to have some extra funds in your dry cleaning budget because the lid leaks like crazy. I've had mine 2 months and it's not a fluke, it happens all the time. I have stained so many shirts it's crazy. I still use the cup though, but now I hold it with a paper towel (so much for eco-friendly)to catch the drips.

« Eco rip off »

My wife and I really try to be eco firendly and do as many do by spending a little more for products to ensure a better world. We purchased two cups and they both leaked from the first use forward. A real mess. The lid did not fit and became more unsuitable with each use. We are unable to use the cups with the lids. This was a real dissapointment. I would like a refund.

This is exactly what I was looking for! And it comes with a silicone sleeve so you don't have to buy that as well!

« Works for Purpose »

Unlike some other reviewers, I have had no leaking issues. At first I was attempting to push the lid on too hard on in the wrong direction; however, when pushed directly down quite gently the lid creates a good enough seal to prevent any spillage.

HOWEVER, I must agree that the silicone lid has a very intense odor even after multiple dishwashes and this disturbs me slightly while drinking.

-good price (cheaper than comparable items)

Cons
-smelly lid
-doesn't hold as much coffee as expected (this would be a personal problem though as the ounce-age is listed)

« Good for me, Good for Mother Earth »

I bought this cup at a store locally and I really like it. I like that it is ceramic because I can reuse it. It goes in the dishwasher and microwave, no problem. Also, I use a coffee warmer at my desk and the ceramic cup allows me to keep my coffee warm for longer. I really like the silicone lid and sleeve. I have not had a problem with any leaking what so ever. The only negative I found was once I put a really strong coffee in my Eco Cup and the silicone lid smelled like that cup of coffee until I put it through the dishwasher. I usually wash this by hand, but I couldn't stand the extremely strong smell of the coffee I had a week ago in the lid. So just don't drink strong, stinky coffee and you'll be okay. In fact, my company is purchasing 125 of these cups and putting our logo on them to give to our referring doctors offices. Like I said, this cup was good for me and I think it's good for Mother Earth also. I hope our referring doctors use them and love them like I do!
